What is the aim of the SystemsX.ch SME’s workshops?
Although SystemsX.ch counts public institutions as its official partners, one important aim is to implement various forms of public-private partnerships. SystemsX.ch has implemented measures to initiate public private partnerships. As a first step for public private partnerships, the relevant parties need to meet in order to identify mutually interesting topics. The SME’s workshop co-organised by the Swiss Biotech Association (SBA), toolpoint for Life Sciences, other regional Life Science clusters and SystemsX.ch. Several presentations from SystemsX.ch groups and the SMEs will allow insight into current respective activities. The focus of the presentations will be to provide methods, technologies, projects, etc with the potential for future public-private partnership programs. The discussion and conclusions between lecturers and workshop participants should resolve in concrete follow up measures. For industry, especially Life Science, Biotechnology, Pharma and IT, it will be important to be in direct contact with researchers of SystemsX.ch in order to learn about future needs and to get inputs for their R&D efforts towards new analysis techniques. The dialogue shall be intensified at the follow-up networking lunch.
We are looking forward to a fruitful workshop.
