What are the SystemsX.ch Lecture Series?

SystemsX.ch Lecture Series is a sequence of lectures which take place about every other month at one of the partner institutions of SystemsX.ch. The talks are given by an internationally renowned Systems Biology researcher, who is chosen and invited by a Principal Investigator of one of the Research, Technology and Development (RTD) Projects of SystemsX.ch. The lecture is given in a large auditorium at the home institution of the Principal Investigator and is streamed in real-time.

The Lecture Series aims to present the SystemsX.ch community speakers of overarching relevance and interest, and to attract non-SystemsX.ch scientists to Systems Biology. The ultimate goal is to strenghten the ties between scientists and groups within SystemsX.ch. The lectures are not only open to the SystemsX.ch community, but also to the broader audience, who may follow the talk either at the meeting location or virtually via the live-streaming.

SystemsX.ch hopes to attract a wide audience with this Lecture Series. The possibility of live or electronic participation at the lectures should facilitate bringing the knowledge of high-ranking researchers closer to groups and scientists from various disciplines.
