SystemsX.ch announces Third Call for Proposals

Zurich, 21.10.2009. SystemsX.ch, the Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology, is issuing its Third Call for Proposals. The focus of the third Call is on Interdisciplinary PhD student projects (IPhDs), Interdisciplinary Pilot Projects (IPPs), Bridge 2 Industry (BIP) and Industrial Sabbaticals in Academia (ISA) projects. 2009 RTD decision: Six new SystemsX.ch Projects approved

Zürich, 20.05.2009. SystemsX.ch, the Swiss Initiative in Systems Biology, supports six further large Research, Technology and Development (RTD) Projects. These projects will be carried out by 47 research groups from eight Swiss universities and research institutions. The research budget amounts to 27.5 Million Swiss Francs.

Scientific Advisory Board Confirmed

Third All-SystemsX.ch-Day on November 18, 2009 in Bern

Zürich, 02.02.09. AK. We are pleased to announce that this year's All-SystemsX.ch-Day 2009 is hosted by University of Bern and will take place on November 18, 2009 at the "Inselspital" in Bern. As guest speaker, science historian Prof. Ernst Peter Fischer is invited. More information will be available on our website soon.

2nd Call generates 57 Proposals

Zürich, 20.01.09. AK. The Second Call for SystemsX.ch Proposals generated 19 Research, Technology and Development (RTD) Project proposals from 8 different hosting institutions. Besides, 22 Interdisciplinary PhDs (IPhDs) and 16  Interdisciplinary Pilot Projects were submitted. The SNSF panel reviews the RTDs on April 27/28, 2009. A preliminary decision will be available in May.
