How a simple fatty acid molecule can help burn lipids

A team from UNIL and UNIGE financed by the Swiss initiative identifies a gene implied in a mechanism of nutritional adaptation likely to activate lipid oxidization pathways.

22 new projects approved

The decisions related to the 7th call have been made! The Scientific Executive Board (SEB) of together with an expert group of the Swiss National Science Foundation have chosen the most promising proposals for Transition Postdoc Fellowships and Interdisciplinary PhD Projects, respectively. more »


31 new proposals submitted issued its 8th call for proposal in February 2013. The Swiss life science community was invited to submit proposals for Research, Technology and Development Projects and Transfer Projects up until June 30. More than 150 research groups are involved in the 31 submitted project applications. more »
