ETH-Council speaks 10 Million CHF for SystemsX
December 22, 2005. Zurich. The ETH Council funds SystemsX with 10 Million Swiss Francs in the years 2006 and 2007. This way SystemsX becomes a «Competence Center with a participation of the EPFL» as it is formulated in the press release issued by the ETH Council.
New Center of Systems Biology opens at Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg
September 8, 2005. Freiburg im Brsg. The Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg opened its new Center for Systems Biology with a foundation symposium on November 3rd. The center shall be a technology platform and a playground for young investigators in Systems Biology. A new 22 Million Euro building will be ready by the end of 2007.
UBS sponsors Ph.D. positions in SystemsX Scientific Node
October 10, 2005. On behalf of one of its clients, the UBS AG, the largest Swiss bank, is funding three Ph.D. positions for young scientists in the Ph.D. program of the Competence Center for Systems Physiology and Metabolic Diseases (CC-SPMD).
