In addition to promoting top science at our partner institutions, SystemsX.ch aims to bring Systems Biology closer to various industries. As an interdisciplinary approach to the life sciences, industries with very different foci might be interested in what Systems Biology can offer them. On the other hand, industry may be able to offer SystemsX.ch scientists new ways of approaching the biological questions they are addressing. Here we provide two project types to facilitate academia's interaction with industry.
Bridge 2 Industry Projects (BIP):
These are one year projects designed to get an academic and industry partner to design and carry out a project together. Funding can be up to CHF120'00. For more information about BIPs, please click on images below.

Industry Sabbatical in Academia (ISA):
This project type allows for an industry scientist to do a sabbatical in an academic lab of one of our partners. The duration of the sabbatical should be about 3-6 months, and encourages industry scientists to expose themselves to what is new in Systems Biology research in Switzerland.
